Course Professionals

Gwen Davies 

Gwen graduated as a mental health nurse from Christchurch University UK in 2004.  She has 15 years experience working within a range of settings related to mental health.  5 of those years were spent in an eating disorder service as a primary care liaison nurse.  She specialised in early intervention support to enable clients to overcome their difficulties.  For 1 year she was the service manager for the Kent eating disorder service. 

She graduated from Anglia Ruskin University UK, in 2006 with a post graduate certificate in CBT.  And in 2015 completed a Degree in Public Health from Christchurch University UK.  As a private practitioner, her focus now is on supporting as many people as possible to overcome their difficulties related to eating.  Gwen's aim is to provide a non-judgemental, professional and compassionate service, that can make a difference to the lives of the people she treats.  

Alex Davies

Alex graduated from Christchurch University UK, in 2006 with a degree in Occupational Therapy.  He has 13 years experience working within a range of physical and mental health settings.  He specialises in physical rehabilitation.  Alex is also an Advanced Personal Trainer (Via YMCA Advanced PT Course, London) and Life Coach (via The Life Coaching Institute UK). He also has a degree in Philosophy from Greenwich University London.   Alex supports Gwen both as a professional and as someone who has experienced difficulties around eating and body image.  Alex provides clients with a wealth of knowledge relating to training, diet and conceptual thinking and also relates to clients on a personal level by being able to share his experiences and coping strategies that have proved so powerful in creating his lasting positive change.
